Welcome to Da Boa Vida – Guesthouse The Good Life !

Da Boa Vida, which  means The Good Life in portuguese, was originally an old quinta, which is the portuguese name for an old farm. We have converted the old houses into a rustic guesthouse with modern facilities though with keeping the old style where possible.

On the norwegian parts of this site, you can look at the pictures of the rooms, the garden and the atmosphere.

We have three rooms, all with separate entrances, terraces and bathrooms en suite. Our concept is bed and breakfast (b&b), and we are offering a large breakfast at one of our terraces or inside in the colder parts of the year. If you like we also serve our guests a cup of coffee or tea before breakfast at your own terrace in the morning sun.

We have guests who are coming again and again, and they say that they appreciate the calm and silence and our individual service in an unique atmosphere.

As a guesthouse we feel that our guests also should have the possibility to eat their dinner here after an interesting day. We are therefore offering dinner every day,  and as a reference; our guests prefer eating here nearly every night.

The guesthouse is not suitable for children, we have no facilities for them. Da Boa Vida is for adults who for instance like to walk in the countryside, enjoy golfing, love the beaches and the sun but do not appreciate the big hotels in the typical touristic areas. – But they all love Portugal and The Algarve.

We are situated near the city Tavira (approx. 20 minutes), and you come here from Faro Airport within 35 minutes.
